Gretchen Larkin, Head of School, is pleased to announce the addition of three experienced administrative professionals to her Senior Leadership Team. As the school looks toward its 50th anniversary in 2025, the launch of a new strategic plan, Soaring Ahead, and beyond, these individuals will be instrumental in building programs to help conceive and execute initiatives to help the community achieve its aggressive goals.

Not only was I extremely impressed by their experience as educational administrators but by their passion for our mission. Each of them will be vital partners to both me and our Board of Trustees as we plan for our 50th anniversary and beyond. I am sure you will agree, once you have had a chance to meet them, that they will make a real difference within our community," said Larkin.
Lewis Brey, Esq. - Chief Human Resources Officer
He most recently served as the Executive Director of Human Resources and Legal Council for the Norwalk Public School System, a district that serves over 11,000 students. He also worked in a similar capacity at the Greenwich Education Group (GEG), a Stamford based company that operates two State approved independent special education schools and an alternative learning academy. Prior to joining GEG, he worked for the Weston School District and in private practice at Spitzer & Brey LLC.
Lewis has also served his community on Boards of Education in Redding and Westport, among other municipal and community advisory boards including the Westport/Weston YMCA. He has a BA from Emory University and a JD from Pace University and is licensed to practice law in both Connecticut and New York. A lifelong resident of Connecticut, Lewis resides in Redding with his wife Jean, a faculty member in her 30th year at Wilton High School. They have two grown sons.
Katy Ritz - Chief Development Officer
Her professional successes include an incredible $8 million raised for the Michael J. Fox Foundation as well as surpassing engagement and campaign goals at Nightingale-Bamford School, The Windward School, and the Hackley School. She is a compassionate leader who is able to mobilize internal and external stakeholders alike.
Katy has a BA from the University of Vermont and a certificate in Political Science from the University of Witswatersrand in South Africa. She lives in Sleepy Hollow, NY with her husband, two children, and too many pets.
Brad Serton - Director of Marketing and Communications
In the latter role, at Fordham Preparatory School, he worked closely with the school’s development office on fundraising campaigns and events and also helped to create the school’s first ever style guide. Brad also helped to facilitate the creation of video content and graphics for admissions purposes and school wide communications. He was also responsible for the school’s website and social media strategy.
In 2023, Fordham Prep’s “Ramview” community magazine was awarded a CASE District II Silver Award for its “You’re Always From The Bronx” edition on which Brad served as editor.
Brad has previously worked as a Sport Development Officer supporting the growth of baseball and softball in the United Kingdom and as a Partnership Director for Cablevision’s MSG Varsity property.
He has a BA from Trinity College (Hartford, CT) and a MS in Nonprofit Leadership from Fordham University (Bronx, NY).
He currently lives in Wilton, CT, with his wife and three daughters. Brad loves reading, Cape Cod, Manchester City Football Club, his dog, Winston, sunglasses, and the New York Yankees.
